Happy New Year, and welcome to my newest site, Palm City Life 2026! I am glowingleaf, your host and owner of this site. Every day, at 6 AM Central Time, you will see a new post about life in general. While I may share some of my personal experiences, I would try to give new perspectives about life. I also have some educational lessons, activities, and many more.
Just to give you a little knowledge about myself, I am male, over 30 years old, and a resident in the state of Texas. I may not have a job, but I have a Bachelor’s degree in Math and I am capable of taking care of myself. Some of my interests include, but not limited to:

For your information, while I would be open to buying what’s new, I prefer older stuff over newer stuff, not because they’re old or because they came from an earlier time, but rather because of how they’re made and how they’re done. For instance, there’s a reason why I prefer the Nintendo 64 over the Nintendo Switch. The kinds of games I like are 3D Collectathon Platformers, Traditional Adventure games, and older-style party games. For 3D Collectathon Platformers, I prefer if there were an ample amount of primary collectibles, but not too many to where they become meaningless. I also prefer unlockable levels, unlockable moves, more moving obstacles, more puzzle-based missions, more collection-based missions, fewer racing missions, and fewer boss missions. Another reason why I prefer older games more than newer games is because there are too many first-person shooters, match-3 games in the vein of Candy Crush Saga, microtransaction-infested games, and games with very little game play value. I want less games like Gossip Harbor and more games like Donkey Kong 64. Now one area where newer games are better than older games is Animal Crossing, but even New Horizons is not without its disappointments (i.e. money-making was significantly nerfed in ACNH).
Continuing the topic of interests, I may appreciate almost every theme, but there are some themes I like more than others. My top five favorite themes are the Winter Theme, the Sci-Fi Theme, the 1980s Theme, the Southern Theme, and the Mexican Theme. I also have appreciation towards the Medieval Theme, the Pirate Theme, and the Beach Theme. In regards to my favorite themes, I can break them down further into different aspects. Like the Glow Theme, that would go under Sci-Fi (because of its connection to the cyberspace theme) or the Winter Theme (because of Christmas Lights). In Animal Crossing, the “Illuminated” structures in New Leaf would be more fit for a Sci-Fi themed town, but in New Horizons, all of the “Illuminated” structures are Winter themed, not Sci-Fi themed. Now franchise-specific themes, I wouldn’t favor as much. My least favorite themes, the worst one is the Satanic theme, followed by the mythological and fairy-tale themes. The former theme makes me feel very uncomfortable, while the latter two themes are just boring.
I would also like to mention that if anything out there symbolizes me, just like how the bald eagle symbolizes America, it would be the apple. I’ve been more about apples for a long time, to the point that I personify them.
With that out of the way, let’s hope that this year will become a good year. While we can agree that the world is getting worse, try to focus more on your life and less on what’s going around.
